Notes

Note: Just want to explain things on here, about my writing works and I (leon x).

Note: I would like to note, all my work is ORIGINAL and written by I and I alone.

Note: Many of my novels and other writing works, have an “Author’s Note”, which also explains the context of my writing/editing of that specific novel or written work as well.

Note: I wrote my first novel manuscript around 20 turning 21. This draft was “Disbelief”. The second was “Comp-Passion” and the third was “Gloom to Bloom”. All while I was in post’secondary too. I am proud but at that time, I didn’t realize what I had, until ~26-27, when I found out about independent publishing and then, gave it a shot, and voila, you see, Disbelief (2017), Comp-Passion (2017), and Gloom to Bloom (2021). Someone would ask, why you took that long? B/C I thought traditional was the only path, and some other RL situations occur’d. Respectfully, NOW, I know the INDEPENDENT can be another path too, which I found out around ~2016.

Note: And to NOTE, yes, Disbelief, was inspire’d by the “conspiracy theory lore” at a time, b/c they were rampant around the 2010s.

Note: Strangely, as life goes on, I do not think I could write in those genres of my early three novels again. I really think it was an “age” thing, I think.

Note: The next phase of writing novels was from 29 – 34. I wrote like a mad’man and with discipline, and some people will understand and some not. I wrote everyday, while doing other creative endeavours at that time. Many novel drafts were written at least 2~3 years before publication, b/c of the editing process and managing other creative things as well. The publication order was, Kali (2022), Jeremias (2022), The Anatomist (2023), The Final Judge (2024), The Act’Laki Grimoire (2025), and finally as of (Oct/21/2026) NOW, Draycanah (2026). Believe it or not, I have 6 more manuscripts (As of Oct/21/2026) to EDIT, and EDITING is a long phase for me b/c of balancing other things out too.

Note: I write fast. My fast’st novel writing draft, believe it or not, was 2 in a half months (3 weeks) and my longest, b/c I was dealing with RL situations/cirumstances was 6~8 months. I wrote Kali in 2020, in 4 months, and that was the start of my “Detective Fiction Series” which goes from KALI to The Final Judge, specifically with Det. K and Det. O.

Note: I notice’d the editing time for my novels are around 2~3 years strangely. I just think, EDITING, is important because that is the make or break for any writing standard, in my opinion. As other creative writing disciplines have taken the “Mostly Retired”, hopefully, I can focus on ONLY editing my novel drafts now, and ONLY on that.

Note: I can’t change anything in the past, in terms of GENRES and SCENES, but looking back now, WOW, did I write some dark things during that time. Strangely, my fiction characters all had “strange codes” they follow’d. All in the context of the genre in Crime, Horror, Detective Fiction as well as, “Experimental”, I think, strangely.

Note: None of my characters are BASED ON ANYONE FROM REAL’LIFE. It was all fiction from my own mind, and I wish not to analyse myself.

Note: I write fast. Now, I have taken a LONG BREAK from all forms of creative writing and consider myself “Mostly Retire’d”. I am still EDITING my final drafts and that is that for now, when it comes to “Novel Writing”.

Note: My Poetic Tale run, was LEGENDARY, I think. I wrote 88 poetic tales and proud of each one. Many of it was inspire’d by the US and Old European ways of life, I think. Other themes were religions and taboo subjects, which I thought were “netural”. I also wrote 42 Poetic Tales drafts in a YEAR! That is a lot! It look two years for it all to come out too, including the year written in. I don’t think I can write another poetic tale again! 88 is good enough!

Note: My independent stageplays were written only for stage’play. A different way of writing as well, when I wrote it, the stylstics and all. Now, the first, was horror-detective-crime “88” (2022), the other was a down to earth story (well I thought) “Of Failure” (2022), and finally, the last “Of War” (2023), which was more’so a poetic explanation in the the analytics and thought’process of/on the idea of WAR or a WAR GOD.

Note: All the creative writing expressions are special. But, as someone who always want’d to do a “Short Stories Collection”, I really found out that Short Stories are special. From a paragraph or two to three, to 5-6 pages, or even more, writing short’stories was a unique experience. A real unique experience, for people that have “attention issues” too, I find. The short story was also my LAST written creative work too (Written in 2025, edit’d and publish’d in 2026).

Note: That is all I have to write as of now! I hope you all enjoy’d the notes and I hope it explains things a little better, in case some people were wondering!
